Beacon practice.

Activity Type: Backcountry Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing, Day Hiking, Drytooling, Ice Climbing, Mountaineering, Ski Mountaineering, Snowshoeing

Difficulty Rating: Beginner

Itinerary: We will meet at the Alfred Savage Center on Fox Drive at 7 PM.

We will then move to the open field adjacent and use Avalanche transceivers to search for buried 'participants' .  A short exercise with shovels and probes will follow with a focus on adaptability using other participants tools.  We will close with a review of 
shovel team best practices. 

Prerequisites / Courses Required: Avalanche Canada App downloaded on your phone.

Required items to bring: Warm clothes, Headlamp, Avalanche shovel, Transceiver, probe
