August 7 update: Trip is tentatively full now.

Itinerary:

• Saturday, Aug 10 – cragging at Getaway, Little Russia, Kootenay Plains, or similar & practice anchor building, cleaning, rappelling, and multi-pitch review (as time and conditions permit)

• Sunday, Aug 11 – ideally multi-pitch one of the 4+ pitch 5.7-5.9 routes; leave for Edmonton to be back by early evening

Required Items to Bring:

• Harness

• Your preferred belay device

• Climbing compatible helmet

Recommended Items to Bring:

• a Personal Anchor System (if you have one)

• Rappel third hand device (if you have one)

• Multi-pitch belay device

• Stoke, good snacks, good jokes, interesting botany facts

Prerequisites / Courses Required:

• Very comfortable top roping

• Comfortable lead belaying

As per club guidelines, participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation.
